On Wednesday, May 27th, Twin Cities Resident and Fellow Physicians, Medical Students, faculty and administration attended MMCGME’s 3rd annual Quality Improvement Forum at the University of Minnesota!
Trainees submitted posters into a competition with the intention of sharing ideas and innovations they developed within their institution on the topic of quality improvement.

Maria Goertz, MD – Emergency Medicine Resident presented a poster on severe sepsis and septic shock processes in the Emergency Department.
Josh Peltier, MD, Emergency Medicine Chief Resident, Julie Cole, GME Accreditation Manager and Felix Ankel, MD, VP And Executive Director, Office of Health Professional Education presented a poster on “Good Catch”; a project raising awareness around error reporting.
